Welcome to Lawbot Cog HQ!
Lawbot Cog HQ is for advanced toons who have completed all tasks in Donald's
Dreamland. Once this is completed you will get a task to visit Professor Flake
at Precipitation Foundation, which is located on Polar Place in The Brrrgh right
next to Toon HQ. Professor Flake is on a mission to collect weather data from
all the streets in ToonTown. There are 14 lawbot suit parts to collect and you
will need to complete a task on all the streets in Toontown Central, Donald's
Dock, Daisy Gardens, Minnie's Melodyland and Donald's Dreamland.
After you have collected all the suit parts, you will need 60 Jury Notices in
order to go and fight the Chief Justice. The tunnel to Lawbot Cog HQ (shown
above) is located at the end of Polar Place. There is a handy shortcut to HQ
though, and trust me you will appreciate it!! Take a left at Snowman's Land,
then right down the alley, at the intersection, you can go right to Toon HQ or
left to Law HQ.
Naturally, Law HQ is filled to the brim with lawbots. You can find plenty of
level 8, 9 and 10 cogs on the HQ floor. To the Left of the entrance is the door
to the Chief Justice, the the Right is the DA Offices. As you progress in your
Law Suit you will need to visit the DA frequently, but theres no need to worry
about that for awhile.
Let's start by taking a look at the Chief Justice Battle.
Unlike the V.P. and the C.F.O., the size of your suit determines the difficulty
of the battle. So if you don't want to start at the hardest battle you may want
to choose a group of toons with smaller suits when you are first learning how to
defeat the C.J.. As usual 8 toons can fit in the elevator.

The cog battle has only level 8 to level 12 cogs, so make sure
you come the the battle prepared with all your best gags!!

Since this is a court of law, toon style, next it's time to select a jury.
This is done in the tooniest of ways....cannons, of course!!

Just walk up to the cannon and start shooting. You can move the cannon in any
direction to aim for the chairs. You may wish to tell your team if you plan to
shoot for chairs in the top or bottom row, this is available in speedchat.

While you are shooting toons into the jury box, the cogs are
raining out of the sky trying to take back any chairs they can, cogs being,
well...COGS! The toons need to seat 8 jurors to get a balanced scale, but the
more you get the lower the toons side will be at the start and the faster the
battle can be won. Don't be discouraged if you don't get 8 jurors though, it may
take a little longer, but it can still be won! I've included some highlights of
the jury selection below.

After jury selection, it's time to battle the Chief Justice!

This map shows you where everything is located.

The first thing you need to do is run to the witness stand and collect some
evidence to throw.
Heads Up! Watch out for Gavels along the way!

The level of difficulty in the battle changes the amount of
evidence you can carry with you on each visit to the witness stand. There are 2
jobs in the C.J. battle. They are both equally important. The C.J. battle is all
about Teamwork.
The first job is to fill the scale with evidence. The blue bar at the top of
your screen is your throw meter. The scale turns blue when its hit as shown
below. When the toons get a hit the C.J. glows red, but if the cogs hit their
side of the scale the C.J. glows green.

If you see this....
...head on back to the witness for more evidence and run back to
your post as quick as possible...your team is depending on you!
Keep making trips back and forth until the scale reaches the bottom on the toons
side.
The second job in the C.J. battle is to stun the cogs. Most of the time it's
best to have 4 or 5 toons stunning the cogs and 3 or 4 toons filling the scale.
There is a row of 8 cogs lined up opposite the jury box. There should be 2 cogs
per toon. After you've had some practice you may find that you can just as
easily stun 3 or more cogs. The easiest way to stun the cogs is to position
yourself between 2 cogs, then throw at one cog and turn throw at the next cog
and turn back to the first one.

You know the cogs are stunned when you see stars spinning around
their heads, but they only stay stunned for a few seconds. When a cog is not
stunned he can throw evidence. You don't want that because he may hit you!! If a
cog hits you with his evidence, it will knock you down and take a quick 5 laff
points off you. Half the time the cogs throw at the scale, trying to fill up
their side first. The good news is that if you stun all the cogs at the same
time everyone gets a +10 toonup! As if that wasn't awesome enough, the evidence
is also now 2 times heavier for 20 seconds. So naturally the scale is filled
faster! How cool is that...makes all that hard work worthwhile.

Tip: If one of your team gets too low of laff, you can help them out
by throwing evidence at them. However, it is unsafe to do this near the witness
stand! The best strategy is to TU while the other toon continues to do their
job.
The C.J. has another little trick up his sleeve. Every now and then, he gets mad
and Jumps! Luckily for us he warns us with a loud horn and he
says..."You're all in contempt of court!" Make sure you have your
sound turned on before you enter a battle with the C.J.!
The C.J., like most judges has alot to say...

...but even though it could be a little more dashing of an
exit...you're sure to be happy to see this.

The reward for defeating the C.J. is the Cog Summons. These can be located by
looking at the Cog Gallery in your Schticker Book.

You can get 1 of 3 different summons for each cog. You may get
the ability to summon a cog, cog building or cog invasion. Each summons can be
used only once, so choose wisely! You can get it back though; you just have to
defeat the C.J. again. The reward received may vary, not only from battle to
battle but from toon to toon.

Now that you've defeated the C.J., you will need to get more
jury notices. It's time to go to the D.A. Offices, but unless you need at least
200 notices, you may wish to defeat a cog building instead.

There are 4 elevators in the D.A. Offices.
Office A: 3 Floors...282 Notices/489 with an invasion
Office B: 4 Floors...472 Notices/794 with an invasion
Office C: 5 Floors...685 Notices/1,145 with an invasion
Office D: 6 Floors...921 Notices/1,542 with an invasion
There are 2 sets of cogs on each floor. The 1st set is skelecogs; 2 level 10 and
2 level 11. The 2nd set is the elevator guards; 3 level 11 and 1 level 12. There
are many many obstacles throughout the D.A. Offices that you need to look out
for. The biggest obstacles are the puzzles! You want to solve the puzzles for 2
reasons: If you do, you get a +15 TU and you dont have to battle the Holocogs. Click here for a handy guide on the DA puzzles!
These are the Holocogs...

Take a look at some highlights of the D.A. Offices below.

You will receive 5 LP's as you progress through your Career in
Toon Law. These are awarded when you have reached Big Wig Levels: 15 20 30 40
50. When you reach level 50 you will also be awarded access to the C.J. without
jury notices.

As was mentioned above, the bigger your suit the more difficult the C.J.
battle is. You may find the following enhancements to the C.J. Battle as you and
your friends progress:
More ToonUp Points from Evidence.
Evidence Weight Bonus from Jury Selection.
Additional Gavels.
Additional Cogs.
Carry less evidence with you.
Below I've included some shots of the hardest battle.
Bumpy will tell you if you have received any bonus weight from the jury
selection.

Your bonus weight will be added to your speedchat for the
duration of the battle.

This shows 2 extra cogs one located in front of the CJ and one located
directly accross from the CJ on the other side of the scale

Some stunners can hit both extra cogs and the scale as shown below.

The hardest battes have many extra gavels to avoid.
There are paths that you can follow and places that are safe to stand, but that
takes a little getting used to.

Enjoy your journey through Law HQ!!
