Trolley Games
In every playground in Toontown you can find a trolley where you can play
mini games to earn jellybeans. Every toon will encounter the Trolley at least
once in their toon life, since it is a required task in the toontorial part of
the game. Up to four toons can ride the trolley together and play the games.
There are 8 mini games you can encounter, and which ones you get to play when
you ride the trolley is random. For every game that you play you are rewarded
with jellybeans. How many jellybeans you earn will depend on how well you do in
the games, what playground the trolley is in, and how many players that played.
Some of the games is only available when you have at least 2 other players with
you on the trolley. Below is a guide of what you need to know about the Trolley
and it's games.

The shop
Between every game on your trolley ride, you and the other
players will first see a window counting how many jellybeans you won during the
specific game you just played. If you win more beans than you can carry, any
excess beans will go directly into your jellybean bank at your estate. After
your beans have been counted, you are transported to the Gag shop window where
you can stock up your gags and decide if you want to play another game on the
trolley or exit back to the playground. During your entire trolley ride you are
able to talk to your fellow players using speedchat or secret friend talk just
as normal. This way you are able to help each other through the games and of
course agree on whether or not you want to continue playing more games together.
Even if a player decides to exit back to the playground the rest of the team can
continue playing the games as long as they want. You are not dependant on each
team member staying in the game. However the more players that play - the
more jellybeans you can earn.

Trolley Tracks
Every Thursday when two or more toons enter the Trolley together they will find
themselves playing a mini game called Trolley Tracks. Trolley Tracks gives the
toons onboard influence over which Trolley games you are going to be playing by
giving each player a number of votes they can use to direct the Trolley carriage
to go up or down along the trolley tracks.

As the game starts you will see the Trolley placed to the left
on your screen. To the right you see a number of icons along the track
representing the different games you can head for. Which games that are
available will always be random. By hovering over each icon you can see the name
of the game if you are uncertain. Each player onboard the Trolley will see that
there is an extra jellybean reward on one of the games - however which game it
is will be different for each player. By using your votes wisely you can steer
the Trolley towards your destination. Of course you can also elect not to care
about the secret goal and head for any game you want to play just for fun also.

You can't get off the trolley until you have finished the
Trolley Track game. Every Trolley Track game consists of 3 voting rounds
and 3 trolley game rounds. Once a full Trolley Track game completes you will be
transported to the gag shop window where you can option to exit or play another
round.
Any of the votes you haven't used during the game will be
converted into jellybeans at the end but you can earn a lot more if you
successfully get the Trolley to your 3 secret destinations. Doing well in the
Trolley games earns you more votes also.

Maze Game
In the Maze Game you find yourself in a large maze containing a
number of tokens that it is your mission to collect. In the maze there are cogs
walking around that you have to watch out for. You have 60 seconds to collect as
many tokens as you can by walking around and touching them. If your toon
encounters a cog, you don't have to worry about losing laff, but you will be
bounced to another part of the maze which makes you lose valuable time. However
if you have already cleared part of the maze, being bounced by a cog may
be a quicker way to get to another part of the maze instead of running there.

The maze will be bigger and contain more cogs dependant on how
many toons that play together. How fast the cogs move is dependant on what
playground you entered the trolley in. The maze in Toontown Central will have
much slower moving cogs than the one in Donald's Dreamland.

Cannon Game
IIn the Cannon Game you will find your toon placed inside a
cannon that is pointing towards a water tower. Your goal is to aim the cannon so
that your toon will fly and land in the water. You have 90 seconds to hit the
water, but the number of jellybeans you can win goes down as the timer goes
down. The faster you are, the more beans you earn! When you play this game with
other toons, you work as a team. It doesn't matter which one of you that hits
the water, you will all earn the same amount of jellybeans.

To aim and shoot the cannon, you can either use the controls on
your screen with your mouse, or use your keyboard. The arrow keys will aim and
by pressing CTRL you fire the cannon. The number of jellybeans you win is not
dependant on the number of players in the Cannon Game. It does, however, matter
which playground you are riding the trolley at. In Toontown Central the maximum
number of jellybeans you can earn with the cannon is 23, while it's 35 in
Donald's Dreamland.

Ring Game
In the Ring Game, you find your toon swimming under water. The
goal of the game is to swim through as many rings as you can. There are 16 rings
total, and the higher the playground, the tougher the ring patterns get. The
rings that you have to swim through can be standing still or move in a number of
directions (side to side, up and down, clockwise, figure 8's and other
variations).
To aim for a ring, you use your keyboard's arrow keys to
position yourself so that you swim through each ring. To be successful at the
game you have to always keep an eye on the rings ahead and try to anticipate
where the ring will be when your toon swims closer. When playing with other
toons you get assigned to a specific ring color and only by swimming through
your own rings will you win any jellybeans.

The reward for the ring game will be bigger depending on the
playground and the number of players that play. When playing with other toons,
you will get jellybeans for every ring you yourself swim through plus a
group bonus for every set of rings that all toons managed to swim through
together.

Tug of War
In the Tug of War game you are facing the task of pulling a cog into the
water using a rope. To pull the rope you have to press your left and right arrow
key alternately to keep the green meter at the same level as the red line in
your power meter. When you press your keys too fast or slow, you will see this
indicated in the power meter. You have 40 seconds to pull the cog into the
water. When the game starts, the pace you have to press your keys in will be
slow. But as the timer goes down, you will need more power to drag the cog and
the pace goes up.

You don't have to get the cog into the water to win. The side
closest to the center will be the losing team. How many jellybeans you win
depends on how fast you won the game as well as if you managed to get the cog
into the water. The winnings also depend on what playground you are at. The
number of players doesn't affect the winnings, but it might be easier to drag a
cog into the water when working together with other toons. There also seems to
be a probability of players facing each other in Tug of War. On one occasion I
have played a game where the other player was my opponent.

The Catching Game
In the Catching Game you have to catch fruit to earn jellybeans. Up in the
trees toons are throwing down fruit for you to collect. But watch out! They are
also throwing anvils in their attempts to hit the cogs walking by down below. If
you get hit by a cog or an anvil you lose time since your toon falls to the
ground and have to get up again to run for the fruit.

You have 55 seconds to catch as many of the fruit as you can.
While playing with other players, you don't share the winnings. Whoever catches
the most fruit also gets the most jellybeans. The speed the cogs walk is
determined by which playground you are playing in. In the later playgrounds, the
number of fruit drops is also higher making it possible to earn more jellybeans
there. The shadows on the ground tells you that something is about to fall
there. An anvil weighs more than fruit so it will fall faster. A faster growing
shadow is therefore most likely an anvil.

Jungle Vines
In Jungle Vines your goal is to swing from vine to vine in order to get to
the other side of the jungle. As you start the game you find yourself standing
on a platform with a vine in front of you. You use your arrowkeys to move
around. If you press the right arrow you will jump to the first vine. The vines
are all slowly swinging. You can use UP and DOWN arrows to climb up and down on
the vine. By pressing LEFT and RIGHT you change which way your toon is facing
and make a jump for the next vine. Along the way you can pick up treasures in
the form of bananas floating in midair between the vines. However you don't get
many points for each banana so you don't want to waste to much time trying to
reach for them since it is more rewarding to get to the other side of the
jungle. To make it to the end you have to jump through 20 vines so don't be to
slow!

The further down on each vine you are the faster you will jump off it towards
the next vine. You should try and time your jump so that the swing is heading
towards the other vine before jumping off. If you fail to reach the next vine
your toon will lose some time as it is reset back to the vine you were jumping
off from. Along the way you will also encounter bats and spiders that will knock
you off your vine if they touch you. There is no advantage in being more players
in Jungle Vines since every players winnings are not dependant on each other.
However you may find that you are crowding each other on the vines while trying
to get across.

Toon Memory Game
In the Toon Memory Game your goal is to flip the cards and match
up pairs with each other. To flip a card over you have to stand on the card you
want and then press DELETE to flip it over. Only 2 cards can be open at once.
One important note is that if you are playing with others you have to work
together since you can only open one card on your own. For a match to be made
two toons have to separately pick a card that are matched up against each other!
By jumping on a card by pressing <CTRL> or INSERT while speedchatting
"This way" you can try to let other toons know they should flip a
specific card. Playing the game with 3 or 4 players gives more jellybeans
than playing it alone or with just one other player.

As you play the game there is a glowing square that keeps moving
around. If you match a pair while the glow is on one of the cards you will earn
an extra bonus point. You get rewarded for the number of matches you make in the
game but also earn points by making as little flips as possible while matching
the cards.

Toon Slingshot
In Toon Slingshot you start the game sitting in a slingshot
holding an umbrella. You have 3 attempts to shoot yourself out of the slingshot,
open up your umbrella and land inside one of the targets for points. To start
off you have to pound your RIGHT and LEFT arrow key to get some power into your
shot. You can aim your shot by pounding one of the direction keys or go for the
middle by alternating between them. Once you feel you have enough power just let
go of the keys and you will be shot out of the sling shot. If you don't pound
the arrow keys you will still be shot out of the sling, after a certain
amount of time, but you won't have much power and most likely hit nothing but
dirt.

Once you are in the air you should keep an eye out for the
targets on the ground and unfold your umbrella to start descending on one of
them. To open your umbrella press the DOWN key and your toon will start sailing
towards the ground. While your umbrella is up you can use your LEFT and RIGHT
keys to steer towards the target you want. You can watch your shadow on the
ground when you're trying to determine if you will hit the target or not. When you land your toon will bounce a
few times on the ground so you should try to aim your landing so that you don't
bounce right off the target again. If you land in the center of the target
you get more points than if you land on the perimeter. Some of the targets are
smaller and give more points than the big ones. The score you receive determines
the number of jellybeans you earn and is independent on how many players in the
game. However which playground you are playing at has an effect on how many
jellybeans you can earn. The score you get at the end of
the game is based on your best hit out of three. On the ground there are also
some trampolines. Hitting the trampolines don't give any extra points but they
can help you reach a target further away if you need an extra boost.

Treasure Dive
In Treasure Dive your goal is to rescue treasure chests from the
bottom of the sea and bring them up to the surface were you load them onto your
ship. This is a cooperative game so if you play it with another toon you both
get rewarded for all the treasures brought to the ship.
You start the game in the water on the surface of the sea. Use
your directional keys to dive to the bottom where you will find treasure chests.
The UP key is what makes your toon swim forward. To rescue a chest simply dive
down to it and touch it and you will be pushing it with you. However in the sea
there are plenty of fish swimming around and if one of them touch you the chest
will fall back to the bottom of the sea again. You have to carefully avoid all
the moving fish and some of them are big bears! Once you reach the surface with
your chest it will be thrown onto the ship and you can dive down and try and
rescue another one.

There is no extra award for being more than one player in
Treasure Dive other than the fact that toons can help each other hauling
treasures aboard by blocking fish so that a player don't get hit while
retrieving a treasure. Everyone will get a share of each treasure but the toon
that did the actual retrieving of a treasure chest will get an extra 25%
jellybean bonus.

Match Minnie
You can't play Match Minnie alone! In Match Minnie you and at least one other
player are playing a dancing memory game with Minnie. Minnie will show you a
series of moves and you have to copy her moves afterwards. The first round only
contains 2 dance moves but for every round this pattern builds up until you are
finally faced with an eight step pattern to remember.

If you fail to match Minnie's move - your toon will stumble, but
you get a new chance in the next round. If you have problems remembering the
moves you can watch your teammates moves and copy those as they go. Of course if
they fail - you fail, and you will never win any bonus for being the fastest
toon. Another alternative can be to use your chat bubble to remember your
pattern in. If you put a "." in front of your directions it will stay
up. I wouldn't recommend this unless you are playing with friends who agree to
let you win, though, as it might be considered cheating and they might chose not
to play with you in the future.

Toon Tag
You need to be at least 2 players to play Toon Tag. One toon
will start the game as "IT", while the others race to collect
treasures in the form of ice cream cones. Who is "IT" at the start of
the game is random. You can easily identify the player that is "IT"
since their head will be much larger than the other players and they'll have an
arrow pointing at them. The player who is "IT" can't take any cones
and must chase down one of the other toons and tag him in order to make him
"IT" instead.

The Toon Tag game lasts for 60 seconds and works the same no
matter what playground you are in. Whoever collects the most cones wins the most
jellybeans. There is no bonus in being more than 2 players but with 4 players
you have a better chance at not being "IT" in the round.

Race Game
It takes at least 3 players to play the Race Game. When the game
starts you will find your toon standing on a giant board with a path of 14 steps
leading to the finish line. To move forward you have to choose a number between
1-4 to indicate how many steps you intend to move forward. However, to move
forward, it is required that no other toon has selected the same number as you.
This makes the game a mind game as well as a racing game. You have to guess what
number the other players will select and try to outsmart them. The further you
get on the board - the more jellybeans you win. The player that crosses the
finish line gets extra jellybeans for winning.

On the board you can also pick up a chance card indicated by the
little question marks along your path. If your toon stops at a question mark it
might be rewarded by extra jellybeans, instand win, or moving extra steps
forward. But the question mark can also be bad news as your toon can be sent
back a few steps, or even instant lose. Stepping on a question mark is a gamble!
You can win more jellybeans by playing The Race Game at later
playgrounds but there is no extra bonus for being 4 players instead of 3.

Photo Fun
In Photo Fun you work can work alone or as a team. Your job is to take the
best picture possible of the toons moving around on the playground. At the
bottom of the screen you can see the pictures you are aiming to get. Your reward
in the game is depending on quality. This means that you get a much higher score
if you are able to not only find the right toons but also if you can catch them
doing the actions they are doing at the bottom of the screen. The reward will
also be bigger if your photos are centered and zoomed in! To move your camera
focus you only have to move your mouse in any direction you want. To zoom in or
out press CTRL on your keyboard, and to take a picture click your left mouse
button! You can also look around the playground by using your arrow keys.
Since you are working as a team and not against each other you can focus on
different targets as you scan the playground. When someone takes a picture their
picture and the score is shown in the bottom row. If a picture is only of 1 star
quality as in the picture below, don't worry because you can replace that score
by taking a better picture!

The target toons will move around in a limited area and perform
their actions in a cycle. You only have a limited amount of time and film for
your paparazzi mission, so you have to decide if it's worth keeping your focus
on the same toon for a long time to try and get the ultimate picture or if it's
better to move on to another target.
Ice Slide
In Ice Slide, you compete against 1 or 3 toons to get as close
to the center as possible. When you begin the game you find yourself inside a
tire at one of the corners of the screen. You have only 2 moves (rounds) in each
match of the game to get closer to the middle than your opponents. Best out of 3
wins!
With your arrow keys you can control the direction you will go,
and the force of the push you will use. As you can see, in the picture below, an
orange arrow will show you what you are aiming at. Tapping the arrow keys up or
down will strengthen or lessen the force you use to move. Once you are happy
with your angle and force, press the CTRL key. Note that once you've
pressed CTRL, you can't change your mind! When all toons have made their
choice or the timer has run out, you will all slide on the ice according to your
choices.

On the ice you can see that there is also stacks of tires,
treasure barrels and TNT in your way. The stacks of tires block your way to the
middle but can be used to bounce against from different angles if you choose.
You should avoid hitting the TNT, but if you manage to get a treasure barrel on
your path to the middle you'll earn some extra jellybeans.
Note that the goal in the game is to get closer to the middle
than your opponents - so keep an eye on the choices they make before deciding
where to go yourself. If you hit an opponent on the ice, the force of the
bounce will have effect on both of you. So if an opponent is aiming for you
- you might want to aim back with even more force than him or aim your
direction so that you will safely move out of his path as he comes for you. Also
remember that you can use the walls to your advantage. Sometimes the best
strategy to get to the middle can be to bounce off a wall rather than aim
directly toward the center.
Toon Escape
The object of Toon Escape is to make your way from your starting position to
the Exit Elevator as fast as you can. You can play the game alone or together
with other players. If you play together your points will be counted
individually but you can help each other kill off the cogs. Along the way
you will have to avoid obstacles, jump on moving platforms and not get hurt by
cogs that block your way. To get more points you can also collect the different
coins that are placed along your path. Different coins have different values,
1-4 points, so you can decide if its worth taking a little detour to
collect them. Getting to the elevator before time runs out gives you a large
bonus so don't spend too much time picking up coins if you think you can finish
on time! Playing the game on different playgrounds makes a difference, the
obstacles in Donald's Dreamland will be harder than in Toontown Central
for instance.
Use your LEFT and RIGHT arrow keys to move forwards or backwards in the game.
To jump press the UP arrow key. You will need to continue to press the LEFT or
RIGHT arrows keys to jump forwards or backwards. There are many moving platforms
in the game some moving left and right, up and down, and even diagonally. You
may even encounter cogs that float in the same patterns!

Cogs will appear along the way and if you touch one you will lose a point.
Fortunately you are armed with your trusty squirt gun and can blow up the cogs
before they hurt you by pressing CTRL to squirt. When a cog gets blown up it
will leave a coin that you can pick up as a reward. You also lose a point if you
get squished by any of the stompers. If you miss a jump and fall, you don't have
to worry about losing a point, but your toon will lose valuable time since
you're then transported back to the last "save point", and may have to
track part of the way again. If you look at the bottom of the screen you can see
how far along the path you are by looking at the white line, the vertical lines
are the save points.
Cog Thief
You can play Cog Thief alone or with a group of friends. The game is quite
hard to play alone though so bringing some friends along to play with you is
recommended. As you start the game you will find yourself in a field of the
playground with some unprotected money barrels. Your job is to try and protect
these barrels and stop the cogs from stealing them all away. If you look closely
at the barrels you can see that they are valued differently. That means you
could decide to focus all your energy on protecting the most valuable barrels
while letting the cogs steal the less valued ones. The cogs move in fast and if
you don't have a full team of toons it will be a lot harder to defend all the
barrels.

To move around the area you use your arrow keys. In Cog Thief you can also
move diagonally by pressing two arrow keys at once. As the cogs approach you can
defend yourself by pressing CTRL and throw pies at them. The more barrels you
manage to keep safe - the more beans you and your team will earn. But even if
you do lose all the barrels you can still earn a reward since you get points for
how long you are able to keep them away too.
As the cogs approach the barrels you have to be very careful so that they
don't touch you. If a cog walks into you, you will be kicked up into the
air and have a very rough landing. Being kicked into the air takes a lot of
valuable time and by the time you land again the cogs may very well have stolen
several undefended barrels. So if you can't hit the cog with a pie before it
reaches a barrel it might be a better option to get out of the way and move on
to try and defend another one instead.
As with the other trolley games Cog Thief is harder when you play it in one
of the later playgrounds. More cogs will swarm in on you and the area you have
to defend can be bigger. The reward of course is higher - but the likeliness of
success is much smaller.
Have fun riding the Trolley!!
