| Toontown Stratics is always looking for talented people… if you’re a fan of Toontown and have some spare time to help out, we have the following positions available:
Reporters: We are looking for people who have a real eye for news. If you enjoy going from website to website, looking for new information about Toontown, then there is a good chance this is the job for you. As a news reporter, you would be responsible for keeping an eye on the official boards for developer posts, official announcements, maintenance, upgrade or other information that is relevant to Toontown. As well, you should like to check out other Toontown websites for information in which readers have an interest. Applicants should be able to post when the news is made and have basic HTML knowledge.
The following positions are available under the Reporters category.
- Official News and Comments Reporter- This position handles all of the news posted on the official site. You will also post comments from the official site that you feel are important and informative. Because there are only 1-2 posts on the official site per week, this position does not require too much time. Game experience is optional.
- Community/Fan Site Reporter- This position will focus on the news, interviews, etc. that is notable on other fan sites. This position will require multiple personnel, because there are so many fan sites. This position will also require more of your time in order to review the fan site(s) you are assigned to effectively. You must also give credit where credit is due. Meaning the original author(s) must be given credit for their work. Game experience is preferred, but not required.
- Community Forums Reporter- If position is filled, we will be dedicating a portion of the portal to forum summaries. This means that reporters in this category will be assigned to a particular forum and post topic summaries. Summaries will contain the original post, important comments, and participant’s names. This is another position that will require more time in order to thoroughly review promising posts. Game experience is required in order to decide which posts are relevant to the topic.
Editors: Content Editors are expected to write guides and keep them updated. Their responsibility also includes scanning the existing content on the site and making sure it’s current and correct. If not, they are responsible for correcting it and submitting it to the Content Manager. An ability to write well is necessary.
Moderators: To qualify for this position you must have the ability to:
- Be impartial
- Enforce the Stratics Rules of Conduct
- Stimulate and lead discussions, to lead by example
- Participate in the discussions, expressing your own opinion and encouraging debate without attacking the opinions of others
- Be at least 18 years of age

No, Stratics focuses on a variety of MMOs. ToonTown is just one of our portals. In addition, we develop community and reference material. So, we are kind of an MMO encyclopedia.

I would not be able to commit to any super heavy type of reporting. I would however like to contribute to maybe helping to add some content. Maybe we could have an advice page. We could have a personal section (wah! my true friend deleted me what do I do?). More important to most, we could focus on tricks to help you progress faster. How to interact with toons who cant talk. Likewise, how a chat less toon can communicate better. Forum threads are good, but so hard to read as you’ll have to go through pages just to get the material you are interested in reading. Also, some of it has such bad grammer that its impossible to understand what they mean.
This brings me to another idea. My grammer isnt the greatest either. Would there be somebody here (editor job I guess) to help me? I dont care if its perfect, but I just want to make sure what I say is legible.
That would be possible… we could get something like that going, but I’m afraid that I can’t right now. Perhaps after this contest and other major events are done with, we could talk about that. Great idea!
a idea for like after the tootown thing loads and brings up the game i would say make it so that you can use all your charecters when your not a member because i wasn’t a member and i had to get membership just to start using one of my charecters again and if not that then make it so that you can switch which spots your charecters are at since the top middle is for non-members only then make it so that you can switch say the bottum left charecter to top middle spot that way you can use your best guys and all that.

Everytime I see a white toon, I go up to them and say “QUIT HACKING!” but thye don’t listen. So I teach them a lesson and REPORT THEM!
that is not a hack it is a just for fun toontask before you report you should know what your talking about
Rahulcool7 is correct. Often times, Toons become white from completing select ToonTasks. Turning white appears to be a preference for hackers, however innocent players shouldn’t have to pay the price. You can also turn white by saying a special phrase in Hibernation Vacations, The Brrrrgh. Bottom line: Please make sure this toon is a hacker before attempting to report them.
I would like to be an Editor because i love to type . Plus i see people hacking sometimes. I try to be there friend ( because you now i kinda looks cool having about 7 players that are the same) and they always don’t reply. my friend told me that she reported a toon called white horse. He was standing on water and was in the Chip and Dale golf course place but she wasn’t really playing golf she was at the picnic table. and i know this may sound very stupid but is it bad to hack and how does it efect toontown?

I would love to be a moderator!!!! I am a level 111 cat and i have looked after small toons ever since i was one. They get treated bad in mints,cfo,vp,because a lot of the big toons have forgotten that they use to be small… I love going to the cfo and getting jellybean unite and then go to toontown central and give them out,because so many of them can’t get to the river and this helps them out a lot. I have seen some big toons take small toons in buildings and not toon them and they go sad and i see them on the play grounds and they tell what happened and that is wrong…I will get a couple of my friends and we will take the small toons in the mints,cfo,vp,buildings,or street fights and we will help them achieve and become big toons just like us….Toontown is about fun,and meeting new friends and also being a helpful toon and we all should be there for one another because that is what it is about and I LOVE TOONTOWN!!!! I have children who play toontown and i have seen them get treated badly by big toons and i would love it if i could come on at the same time one of my children are on so that i could help them… I promise to do a great job and make toontown proud!!
